High School Teams
Our high school program is a one-season model running from the last non-Holiday weekend in August through July. Training is broken into Fall Ball, Winter Skills, and the Summer Season so players get consistent, structured training throughout the year without having to piece together different programs. Practices are designed for high reps, high-quality touches, and high energy, combining lacrosse and athletic development in every session.
Premier vs. Select 17U
- Premier – Same coaching and development model as all Lakers teams, while competing in the highest-level events on our schedule. Players commit to additional attendance and consistency across the season.
- Select 17U – Same coaching and development model, competing in strong regional and national events. Select maintains the full structure while offering slightly more scheduling flexibility.
Season Structure
Our year is divided into three areas of focus, each building on the last. The season begins with baseline testing in both athletic and lacrosse skills. Using this information, along with each player’s self-assessment, we set a development goal designed to push them just outside their comfort zone — something difficult enough that success isn’t guaranteed, but meaningful enough to drive real growth.
Baseline Testing is the last Sunday of August, for the 2025/26 Season, it will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
Fall Ball (September - October)
Starting Sunday, September 7, through Sunday, October 19, every Sunday includes 1 hr of Speed & Conditioning and 1.5 hrs of lacrosse training.
Focus on team concepts, stick skills, and conditioning. Includes one required fall tournament.
Winter Skills (November - February)
From Sunday, November 2 through Sunday, December 16, and then again after a two-week break for Winter Break and the holidays, beginning Sunday, January 4 through Thursday, February 26, every Sunday includes 1 hr of Speed & Conditioning and 1.5 hrs of lacrosse training. Every Thursday adds 1.5 hrs of lacrosse training.
The focus is on individual and positional skills, stick work, and conditioning.
Summer Season (June - July)
Picking up after the 2026 MSHSL and WIAA spring season on Tuesday, June 2, 2027, and going through Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Focus on team concepts, stick skills, and game situations.
